Create an Order in Your Portal
A Portal Order is an easy way to create orders through your Vinebase dashboard. If a customer is unable to check out using the e-commerce site, this is a great way to draft a new order. Some common use cases for Portal Orders are in-person sales or events.
How to manually create an order?
1. Go to your Portal
2. Click on "Orders"
3. Click on "Create Portal Order"
4. Select an existing customer, or add a new one
If the customer is in your wine club or has a previous order on Vinebase, you can select them here. If they are a new customer or do not show up in the dropdown, you can add their information below.
5. Click on "Save"
6. Next, add your products!
This allows you to add any wine or bundle.
7. Increase the quantity, if needed
8. Next, you can add a discount
You can add a fixed dollar discount ($), a percentage discount (%), or toggle free shipping.9. Click on "Save"
9. You can send the link to the checkout by copying this link
10. Or you can click "Send email and SMS"
