Where does Vinebase ship?

Shipping is dependent on where a winery can ship to. If you select your state only the wineries that can ship to your area will appear!

How does shipping work on Vinebase?

The way Vinebase works is that when you purchase off Vinebase, you are buying wine directly from the winery themself. This is super important to our wineries, which are small production, small businesses.

Wine purchased from Vinebase is shipped directly from the individual winery, and the shipping cost is per winery. Therefore, if you purchase from multiple wineries in one order, you may receive multiple packages delivered to your door.

Is there a minimum order amount?

We do not have a minimum order amount. But we've also learned that shipping is really challenging for smaller wineries, so shipping an order of 1 or 2 bottles is very costly for wineries. We encourage you to shop from as many wineries as you'd like, and if you are able to, we do encourage you to purchase a minimum of 3 bottles per winery!

Quick reminder! Most of our wineries are able to offer free shipping above a certain order size (e.g. Free shipping at 4+ bottles). You can find this by selecting on a Wine Bottle Page and looking at the "Add to Cart" box on the right hand side.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Shipping time is dependent on the winery and may vary per winery. We encourage all of our wineries to fulfill your order within 2-3 business days (most wineries have fulfilled the order within 1 business day -- our wineries are eager to ship to you!) Our wineries keep a close eye on climate, so they may decide to hold the wine until it is best and safest to ship and deliver to you.

Do I have to be at least 21 years old to receive my wine?

Yes. Someone who is at least 21 years old must be available to sign for each shipment.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If an adult (at least 21 years old) is not available to receive this package, additional attempts to deliver will be made. If these attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the winery, and may result in additional shipping costs. If you have any issues with delivery for your order, you can reach out to [email protected] and we'll gladly help.

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email notification from Vinebase with the shipping tracking information once a winery fulfills your order.

Can I update my shipping once I've placed an order?

We cannot guarantee that you will be able to update your shipping details once you've placed the order, but we will absolutely try! If you'd like to update your shipping details, please reach out to [email protected] and we will do everything we can to pass this information onto the winery you've ordered from before they send your wines. It is possible that the message doesn't reach them on time, but we'll do what we can to make things better!
